Applications
Compression Fittings are used in a variety of industries such as gas lines in refineries, plumbing, electrical conduit systems. They are used with Copper, Brass or Nylon Tubing.
Advantages
Compression Fittings are easy to assemble, cost effective and reliable leak-tight joints. They have high pressure and temperature ratings and are corrosion resistant. We use BS 2874 CZ 121 or BS 2872 CZ 122 Brass for manufacturing.
How to Assemble
- Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing.
- Slip the coupling nut and then the sleeve onto the tube. Make sure the threads are facing the end.
- Insert the tube into the fitting.
- Thread the nut onto the fitting until its tight.
