Applications

Compression Fittings can be used with Copper, Brass, Aluminum or Plastic tubing. These fittings are primarily used in water, gasoline, oil and vacuum lines.

Advantages

Compression Fittings do not require flaring, soldering or other preparation to assemble. We use CA 360, CA 345 or CA 377 Brass for manufacturing.

Temperature Range

-65°F to 250°F at maximum operating pressures.

Vibration

Short nuts are to be used when vibration is minimal. The long nuts are available for higher vibration applications.

How to Assemble

  • Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing
  • Slide nut and then the sleeve onto tube – threads facing the end
  • Insert the tube into fitting
  • Thread the nut to the body until its tight, and then
    upto 1/4″   1 1/4 turns
    5/16″   1 3/4 turns
    3/8″ & up   2 1/4 turns
