Advantages
These fittings are designed for easy assembly, eliminating the need for tube preparation or flaring, and they come with built-in tube support. They feature a ribbed sleeve that ensures compression and a secure grip. Additionally, they can be adapted for use with copper tubing by replacing the nut, sleeve, and insert with a long nut and spherical sleeve, with the insert being removed for copper tubing applications.
Applications
For air brake systems, except in situations where temperatures exceed 200°F or where battery acid may drip onto the tubing.
